On this page you find a couple of my
top favourite water color artists.
Painting with passion! This water-colour artist, born in Montevideo, Uruguay and moves to Australie in 1983, is a master!!. He has been really confessed for its "passie" and environment in its water-colours. Very nice and painted with a lot of feeling... impressive. Take a look on the websites mentioned below and you see why he is for me the top water-colourist. His book "Painting with passion" is super!! Abolutely recommended.

Jospeh Zbukvic was born in 1952 in Zagreb, Croatia. His work can be best described as impressionistic with subtle tonal qualities and a touch of romance. He is also a master water colorist and one of my top favourites. I read his book "Mastering atmosphere & mood in watercolor" several times, I can't get enough of it.

Herman Pekel was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1956 to Dutch parents. His works are represented in many private and corporate collections thoughout Australia and overseas. "Environmental issues are a great concern to Herman and his love of the landscape reflects that in almost everything he paints. He produces paintings of strong design and powerful impact, every brushstroke vibrant and visible. The scope of Herman's work, has ranged from dynamic industrial scenery to soft, draped interiors and broad Australian landscapes, indicates the creatively fearless nature of this unique artist."
